7 Ways for College Students to Earn money.

With the rising cost of college tuition, book, and even gas prices it has become harder and harder for a college student to have a little extra cash. Plenty of scholarships are available and even student loans who want to have a huge loan to pay off just starting out after college graduation. Credit cards are another option but they are really not a good option either. That really only leave one option other than relying on ones parent or guardian. Get a job or find other means to earn a little extra money while in college.

There are many ways that a college student can earn a little extra cash for everyday expresses.  Here are 7 ways that many students use earn money that require little or no out  of pocket expenses.

Off campus jobs.  Off course an off campus job is one option if you can find one that want interfere with your studies. Waiters or waitresses in restaurants are popular.  I personally delivered appliances and worked at a full service gas station.

Become a tutor.  Especially for upperclassmen and those highly skilled in math, English, internet technology and other areas, tutors are in demand to assist other students. You can freelance your service or see if your college has a tutoring center you can join.

Got a camera. Take pictures and upload them to sites that sell stock photos.  Places like Dreamstime , SnapVillage , Shutterstock , iStockphoto , Fotolia  and BigStockPhoto  are all .com's that will upload your pictures and when someone downloads your photo art you receive a commission.

Buy and sell items on Ebay.  List your unwanted items on ebay. Check with other students and offer them a percentage for listing their items.

Become a freelance writer.  If you have good writing skills offer your services to students and even online to write and produce articles for to others.

Blogging.  It is possible to earn some cash through different adds on a blogging platforms through adds posted on that page by other marketing services. Squidoo is a good example with adds posted from amazon, google, and other advertisers.

Affiliate Marketing.  One area often overlooked by college students is to start online marketing as an affiliate marketer.  In most cases this requires little or no out of pocket money by promoting products offered through Clickbank, Commission Junction, Amazon, and Shareasale to name a few.

I know from past experience as a college student that not having a few extra dollars for life's little pleasures or necessities  can be frustrating and somewhat of a distraction from studies.  A college student may have some advantages over others as they are in a position in many cases to be exposed to the latest fads and fashions, new technology, and other ideas of interest in today's world.

Most college students today have either a laptop computer or at least access to one and the time in between classes and studies to get online and do a little niche affiliate marketing. This can be very rewarding and can be done using simple techniques with little or no out of pocket expenses. If a student can develop a good marketing plan then the problem of "no cash in pocket" can be solved with a little work and determination. One marketing plan I use and recommend is called One Week Marketing.
